Tanapag, reloaded

Although my dives on Saipan were few and far between, one of my favorite dives remains Tanapag, which I revisited on 2 occasions. At only 20-25 feet, the patch reef is shallow but teeming with both coral and fish. And, after mastering taking underwater photos WHILE diving, my photos finally do the reef justice. No more blurry, out of focus pictures of rubble NEXT to the amazing fish. Well... only a few blurry out of focus pictures taken of rubble next to fish, more blurry out of focus pictures of the hind end of fish, rendering the photo useless for species identification, which was the whole purpose of taking the picture in the first place. Man, plants are so much easier to photograph, although considerably less photogenic.
