Monte Verde: Segundo vez

hola,
here is the second set of monte verde pictures. the mountains are really spectactuar. unfortunately the pics are from the bus and dont do the nature justice. (had to take the 6 30 am 'express' bus to san jose to make back to work monday afternoon). i'm not sure how, but the bus managed quite well coming all the way down out of these mountains. on a dirt road for 40 km. after 3 days of heavy rain. take that, southern CA. where the lovely cement covering every square inch possible prevents any water from actually being absorbed and then streets and gutters flood after a few hours of heavy rain. HAH. siiiiiigh. i think i will eventually have to return to reality. unless i can live in costa rica indefinitely. with no income. (oh wait, i have no income when i return to the states because i have no job. or home. stake out a nice corner for me to put a cardboard box, kiddies...)

i need to rest my poor battered body, so i can abuse it more on thursday. hmmm... maybe make that friday. ouch.
